I'm Sheena, a New York City-based designer and creative director.
You could call me a design generalist. I have broad experience in brand, identity, digital, product, spatial, motion, and information design. I’m strategic, working through all aspects of the project from problem definition to implementation.
I make things. It sounds kind of boring, but I want the things I make to actually work. I find a balance between the big, ambitious idea and “umm, can we pull this off?” If you work with me, we'll spend a fair amount of time talking about ideas and planning, but then we're going to get our hands dirty.
I’ve made things for Anthropologie, AIG, Dress for Success, GE, Google, Grind, Infiniti, Lululemon, The Related Companies, Snap Kitchen, Wells Fargo Advisors and YouTube.
What I’m hired for: storytelling / ideation / prototyping and testing / wireframing / sketching / brand strategy / visual identity / technology / product / user research / UX / UI / illustration / animation / visual design / experience design / creative consulting
What I do for fun: read wikipedia articles about small, declining towns / listen to too many podcasts about murder, economics and history / sit under an umbrella at the beach / cook mostly-carb meals / find remote swimming holes upstate / try to learn guitar, poorly
